Large national business brokerage firm looking for direct sales candidate.
This is primarily a commission based position, with $500 monthly retainer for the first six months. Earn 6% of the sales price of a business. One week of training required at national headquarters. Training expenses and flight to be paid, candidate responsible for hotel, meals and entertainment. Candidate also responsible for on-going marketing costs. Candidate required to pay $3,300 for marketing campaign conducted by corporate on his/her behalf to jump start sales process. Average first sale for a business broker is six-twelve months, so the ability to financially sustain yourself at first is a must.
The ideal candidate has at least 5-10 years of sales experience, including cold calling and customer interaction. Ability to professionally represent the firms service offerings and capabilities. Ability to properly value a business with the help of financial models.
Candidate should also have good aptitude to help prospective business buyers identify what type of business or franchise would best be suited for them, meets their capital investment and location requirements.
Candidates will also be required to attend networking events, some in the morning and evening to help develop a professional network which is the best lead source.
Excellent written and oral communication skills a must.
