textbook purchasing agent - temporary

Seeking outgoing, entrepreneurial individuals who can deal cheerfully and professionally with students in a retail-type environment. Purchases used textbooks in the Lexington, KY area from college students at the end of semester; December and, or May/June timeframe. Requires cash handling experience and the ability to pack and lift 50 lb cartons. Knowledge of Point of Sale software a plus but will train. Purchase events are conducted at outdoor tent locations, close to campus, and funds are provided by company. Pay will be on an hourly basis, with lunch expense reimbursed. Successful applicants will work at the end of this fall semester; 8-10 hours per day, between 11/30-12/18. Solid performers can develop opportunities to work future purchase events.
